This performance is donating part of its ticketing sales in addition to homemade holiday cards and cookies to the Greenwich House. WomenHeart: The National Coalition for Women with Heart Disease’s mission is to improve the lives of women with or at risk for hear disease while fighting for equity in heart health. Based in Washington, DC, WomenHeart reaches all over the US with its trained patient volunteer groups, including four individual groups in New York City. They provide peer-to-peer support, critical information and encouragement to other women. But why now? It matters most now. When women’s heath gets overlooked, we need to act in ways to support the companies that are continuing to work toward equality in healthcare.
